Medications are injected from day 2 or 3 of the menstrual period for 10 days. During this time, scans are done to monitor the follicles.
An injection triggers ovulation after follicles mature. Eggs are collected under anesthesia using an ultrasound-guided needle.
The best sperm are selected to fertilize the eggs. Embryos are cultured in a lab for 3-5 days.
Embryo quality is assessed. Extra embryos can be frozen for future use.
One or two embryos are transferred to the uterus. Two weeks later, a blood test confirms if the cycle is successful.

IVF stands for in-vitro fertilization. It is a medical procedure in which an egg is fertilized by sperm outside the body, in a laboratory dish. The fertilized egg (embryo) is then implanted into the woman's uterus, where it is hoped that it will successfully implant and grow into a baby. IVF is typically used when other methods of fertility treatment have failed or are not possible.
IVF is typically recommended for couples who have been unable to conceive through other means, such as fertility drugs or artificial insemination. It may also be used for women with certain medical conditions that prevent conception or carry a high risk of pregnancy complications.
Age less than 21 and Age more than 50 for females and 55 for males.

Yes. It's a safe technique to become pregnant.
Multiple pregnancy is the most common side effect of IVF.
1-2 per day during the IVF process may be needed.
IVF babies are normal like other children.
Embryo transfer for IVF is not painful.
Yes you can! It is safe to go to the bathroom after your embryo transfer. The uterus is a muscular organ and it doesn't affect the IVF outcomes.
The costs of an IVF cycle can vary widely depending on the location, clinic, and specific treatments required. It is generally considered an expensive procedure.
IVF cycles can fail for a variety of reasons, such as poor egg or sperm quality, issues with implantation, or genetic abnormalities in the embryos.
Blastocyst embryo transfers are a more advanced form of IVF where embryos are allowed to grow for an additional 2-5 days before being transferred to the uterus. This can increase the chances of successful implantation.
Natural pregnancies can occur after IVF, but it is more likely that the woman will need to continue with additional rounds of IVF or other fertility treatments.
